Train Aikido in the Capitol of Sweden in an International Aikido dojo
We practice traditional Aikido as taught by the founder of Aikido Morihei Ueshiba in Iwama and Morihiro Saito Sensei also refered to as Iwama Style.
Come and train Aikido with us at Stockholm Aikido Club. You are welcome to join us if you are at least 15 years old.
Aikido is a traditional martial art and self defence. You will get a well versed training and good physical training.
Instructors
Head instructor is Mats Alexandersson 6 dan. Shidoin, a long time student of Saito Sensei and traditional aikido from Iwama. There are also several other instructors who have decades of experience from aikido and teaching aikido who teach at the dojo. This ensures you to obtain a knowledgeable and experienced guidance in class.
Try 2 classes för free
You can try out a 2 of classes and when doing so you only need basic training clothes. After that when you continue, you must get a karate suit.
Either you can buy it at the dojo or for instance at jabb.se who offers suits at affordable prices.
Language
The classes are held in Swedish or in English depending on the language preferences of the students.
Beginner´s offer
We offer a beginner´s kit containing, karate gi, beginner´s books and fee for training for only 1300 SEK.
As a beginner you practise on mondays and wednesdays at 19.00.
Beginners classes start on the 3rd of September 2019

The Aikido Dojo is at Rosenlundsgatan 54, one level below ground level.
How to get here:
Busses 4, 43 or 74 to Södra Station.
Subway to Mariatorget, exit Torkel Knutssonsgatan.
Commuter train to Södra station, exit Rosenlundsgatan.
To enter
Use the door phone and we will let you in (look up Stockholm Aikidoklubb it is shown in the display by the entrance) .
Then take the stairs through the glas door, by the elevator, down to the dojo.
